What You'll Do:

The Executive Director of Enrollment Services (EDES) is a key leader at Arizona College of Nursing’s (“College”), working in collaboration with the Campus President to fulfill the College’s mission, “to be the most student-centric college in the world” and its purpose, “to provide people the opportunity to enhance their lives through education.”

 

Essential Responsibilities:

 

Build and participate in building highly effective campus teams:

  • Select and train campus admissions team and financial aid teams to achieve outstanding student service, enrollment growth, and staffing efficiency.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with College expectations, including correct phone line and inquiry management.
  • Directly observe and provide timely feedback on the quality of student-facing services in admissions and financial aid.
  • Manage HESI (A2) test proctoring, collaborating with Campus Operations leadership when additional resources are needed.


Manage campuses’ enrollment operations:

  • Partner with function leaders at campuses to ensure appropriate and effective use of budget to support the enrollment services and campus’s success.
  • Optimize enrollment services resources and oversee student enrollment.
  • Collaborate with function leaders to effectively utilize the budget in support of enrollment services and campus success.
  • Ensure effective implementation of the New Student Review (NSR) process.


Achieve enrollment results:

  • Monitor and report out quality assurance, compliance, and student service metrics.
  • Efficiently control testing center access through the Admissions Coordinator.
  • Manage Admission HESI (A2) test orders in alignment with enrollment expectations.


Strategically engage with stakeholders:

  • Collaborate with the Campus President and VP of Enrollment Services (VPES) to achieve College and campus goals.
  • Build and increase national partnerships to support growth and reputation.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the New Student Orientation (NSO).
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute NSO for all new students, collaborating with the Campus President for speaking roles and additional staffing needs.
  • With input from the Campus President and Enrollment Services leadership, submit information for preparation of the annual operating and capital budget of admission staff and areas.

Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to accreditation standards:

  • Ensure compliance of all federal and state accreditation rules and regulations.
  • Oversee completion of required campus plans or documents to meet regulatory requirements (i.e., ABHES requirements).
  • Serve on relevant committees for the campus and the College.
  • Enforce the use of compliant materials and procedures in alignment with regulatory standards.

What We Need From You:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

 

Must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent skills and experience.
  • 3-5 years demonstrated leadership success in higher education operations, such as Admissions, Student Services, or Business Operations.
