What You'll Do:

The Colleague Support Coordinator resolves onboarding-related issues, ensures effective use of onboarding and fosters positive relationships throughout the organization. The Colleague Support Coordinator processes all onboarding within federal and state regulations and utilizes available resources for greater compliance. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record keeping, file maintenance and data entry.

 

Onboarding

  • Creates Adjunct Agreements and sends for signature.
  • Liaise with HR Directors and Hiring managers to resolve employees’ onboarding roadblocks.
  • Investigate and correct onboarding discrepancies and errors.
  • Process onboarding events and monitors system access issues.
  • Track new hire background check requests and report any discrepancies to HR Generalists and HR Business Partners.

 

Compliance

  • Report and follow up on expiring work authorization.
  • Ensures all new hire files meet ABHES requirements for areas of responsibility.
  • Complete and maintain I-9s in accordance with USCIS Regulations.

 

Administration

  • Complete initial Unemployment Claims questionnaires and escalate unemployment claims to HR Business Partners as needed.
  • Approve employee self-service changes (W4, address, direct deposit, personal information).
  • Assist employees with Paylocity questions, access to earning statements, benefits elections.
  • Manage HR returned mail by updating addresses and remailing.

 

Recordkeeping

  • Scan personnel paperwork to employee files (verifications, enrollments, appeals).
  • Audit personnel files for missing documents and follow up with appropriate colleague.

To perform this job successfully, an applicant must have professional demeanor, the ability to work independently, understand goals and deadlines and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, a related field, or equivalent skills and work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a highly detailed, customer service oriented, and fast-paced work environment.
