What You'll Do:

The Student Achievement Manager is a working leader and responsibilities evolve as the campus grows. They enhance student success in the BSN program and increase student engagement by leading the student achievement function. Their primary responsibility is to ensure the effective management and development of the student achievement function of the campus and to achieve specific and measurable goals while serving their own assigned caseload of students.

 

Essential responsibilities:

 

  • Assess the support needs of students; identify when additional resources are necessary to meet those needs. When needed, plan, hire, and manage a team of Student Achievement Coaches.
  • Execute initiatives in alignment with the national Student Affairs department.
  • Provide prompt and friendly service to students, arrive on time, and maintain consistent attendance.
  • Establish specific and measurable goals for the student achievement function.
  • Monitor campus and individual results and trends. Compare these metrics against goals and take appropriate actions to improve the effectiveness of the function.
  • Assign caseloads to Student Achievement Coaches and others who manage a student caseload, in collaboration with Campus President.
  • Plan and execute campus-wide events to promote the student achievement function.
  • Collaborate with Deans, Campus President, and enrollment services to maximize the utilization of the student achievement resources and associated outcomes.
  • Deliver support services to assigned caseload of students through proactive communication and alignment with College policies and procedures. The student caseload is based on the size and needs of the campus.
  • Partner with the College student affairs department to coordinate campus compliance with Title IX regulations, including accurately recording, and tracking all reports and investigations related to Title IX complaints.

What We Need From You:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

 

Must have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in education.
  • Two or more years' experience in a role with responsibility for resource navigation.
  • Three or more years’ experience in higher education.
  • Experience planning and executing mid to large-scale events.
  • Two or more years' experience in a metric-driven role.

 

Nice to have:

  • Master’s degree in education, behavioral, or social science, or a related area from an accredited college/university.
  • Experience working in an accelerated or intensive program, higher education or secondary education.
  • Experience in the medical field.
  • Experience leading a team.
